Case Study: ACT helps Telenet in staying ahead in the digital era

Telenet, Belgium's largest telecoms provider, wants to stay ahead in the digital world by providing optimal connectivity. New solutions were needed for effective cable management in data centres, using a new generation cables to support increasing density and higher speeds.

Telenet chose ACT Polarity Twist™ uniboot patching with LC and CS connectors, with the CS connector being ideal for saving space. However, the unique Polarity Twist™ connector did not fit well with the chosen cassettes, which posed a challenge as the operational network needed to be commissioned quickly. ACT responded quickly by designing custom clips, which solved the problem and allowed the project to be completed on time. This new clip has since been included in ACT's range of patch cables with Polarity Twist™ connectors.
