Our history

Intronics was founded in 1981 in Barneveld and started as a wholesaler in active, passive and electromechanical electronic components. In 1992 INEC in Belgium was acquired by Intronics; since October 2009 it operates under the name Intronics Belgium. Intronics Spain was founded in the mid-1990s.

In October 1999 Intronics became part of TKH Group n.v., an international company listed on the Amsterdam stock exchange. The TKH Group now has 68 subsidiaries, each specialising in the development and supply of systems and networks for information, telecommunications, electrical engineering and industrial production.

Warehouse

The warehouse is characterised by an enormous surface area (15,000 m2) and a dust free, compactly designed and ESD safe environment. Stocking is split in miniload containers (representing >200,000 locations), pallet locations, drypack and exceptional goods storage. 16 high speed cranes enable staff to do swift and accurate order picking. Most (smaller) products are delivered from the secured miniload locations to the working stations by the high speed cranes. The employee takes out the product(s) needed and scans the order, so the product status is instantly communicated to VIADAT and the ERP system of, in this case, Intronics (WANG). Special order picking (pallets, drypack and exceptional goods) is done on designated locations and is registered instantly via scanning as well.

Corporate social responsibility

One of the spearheads of the TKH group is Corporate Social Responsibility. Intronics follows TKH in the implementation of its CSR policy. For example, all employees of Intronics have signed a code of conduct, we have formulated environmental objectives, we have set standards that our suppliers must meet and we support the foundation Bits for Kids.

Sponsoring

Corporate social responsibility is an important part of Intronics' business operations. That is why we are keen to contribute to Hart voor de Zaak Partner for Hartstichting.

A good example of one of Intronics’ sponsorship projects is the Bits for Kids foundation, set up by Intronics. Bits for Kids offers financial help to several children. More information on this foundation can be found on the website www.bitsforkids.nl.

With your support, together we can make a difference and realise valuable projects that positively impact children's lives.
